Madness for Money II – Geld ist der beste Philtre

"Madness for Money" series adopted model photography and computer-aided methods. The works explore the relation between the evolution of Chinese social value and the fate of ordinary people under the historical background of the first half 21 century when Chinese economy is developing rapidly with the enlarging gap between the rich and the poor. 

In contemporary Chinese society where money comes first, no one can escape the fate of being manipulated by money. The large proportion of blank area in the picture suggests that under such environment, individuals who have different attitudes towards money are so negligible and helpless.

"Money is the Best Philtre" tells us the stories about some groups of people who would sacrifice their pride for money. We should notice that the woman in the picture wears normal uniform, which indicates that she was not a prostitute.
